ROZMITAL will present a prototype of a new disc mower at Agritechnica
"We continue to successfully expand our product range of machines and disc mowers. The new SD-300R rear side-mounted mower has a roller conditioner, complementing the identical conditioner model introduced last year but for front-mounted tractor suspension. The machine will be on display at Agritechnica in a prototype version, and we plan to start serial production in the second half of next year," says Pavel Jahoda, sales director of Strojírny Rožmitál s.r.o.
The SD-300R is based on the proven and durable concept of rear side-mounted machines with centre suspension. The working width of the machine is 2.98 m and the cutter bar, which is developed and manufactured by Strojirny Rožmitál, consists of 7 discs each fitted with two quick-release knives. The machine is hydropneumatically levelling and can be quickly and precisely adjusted to the required floating position. The hydraulic elements are integrated into the frame of the machine hinge. The machine is equipped with a roller conditioner with the possibility of disabling its function. The operator only needs to manually raise the upper squeeze roller to a higher position. The cut forage then passes freely over the lower driven roller.
"The machine is expected to be used in the processing of clover, alfalfa, etc. We see demand for the machine especially from the southern regions, i.e. the Iberian Peninsula, southern France, but also the Balkans. We have high hopes for our newest and most distant market, as our Australian partner is eagerly awaiting the new model," adds Pavel Jahoda.
Along with the new product, the aforementioned SC-301R front mounted disc mower with roller conditioner will also be on display in Hannover. The working width of the machine is 3.01 m, the cutter bar consists of 7 discs fitted with two blades. The bar is mounted on both sides and forms a rigid unit with the machine frame. The winding springs take care of the ballasting. The machine is equipped with an overload friction clutch. As with the SD-300R, the SC-301R's roller conditioner can be easily switched off.
The OZ-676H fodder tedder will also be on display. The six-rotor machine with a working width of 6.7 m has a hydraulically folded structure that automatically locks in the transport position. The diameter of the rotors is 1.36 m and each is equipped with 6 arms. The OZ-676H can be rotated hydraulically from the cab to adjust the direction of forage discharge, a valuable feature especially on the edges of the land. The machine operator can also adjust the forage throw rate behind the machine by regulating the height of the running wheel holder with a screw. The machine is characterised by its excellent ground following, which can be further improved by fitting the copy wheel to an innovative three-point hitch.
The OZ-676H will be equipped in half with new so-called hook fingers for tedders, the other half of the machine will remain equipped with standard straight fingers. The purpose is to show the farming community the design variability we offer within one of our best-selling models. The shape of the new fingers improves the rate of fodder spreading and fluffing, reducing the risk of the fingers digging into the soil and thus protecting the forage from contamination or damage to the machine fingers themselves.
And let's not forget the SB-4631. It is a single rotor delivery rake with a working width of 4.6 m. The large rotor has 10 arms, each with four working double fingers. Under the rotor is a four-wheel tandem chassis for better ground following and greater machine stability.
We cordially invite everyone to the ROZMITAL stand in Hall 27, Stand E26.
